Our All-Inclusive Warehousing Solutions for Design Professionals 

Designer’s Warehouse Fee Schedule

We make the logistics of furniture and decor effortless for interior designers. Below is our fee schedule with detailed examples to help you understand how charges are calculated.

1. Handling Fees

We define an “item” as a single box. Each box must be logged into inventory, opened and inspected, and eventually pulled for dispatch—so billing and move counts are per box.

Handling includes three actions:

  • Receiving into inventory

  • Inspection and photography posted to the inventory board

  • Dispatch for delivery or pickup

 

Rate:

  • Receive $13 

  • Inspect $19

  • Dispatch $13

Each action = 1 move

Typical Item full process Receive --> Inspect --> Dispatch = $45

 

Example:
A sofa is received, inspected, and later dispatched:

  • 3 moves: Receive $13  + Inspect $19 + Dispatch $13 = $45 total

 

A console table is received, inspected, and later dispatched:

  • 3 moves: Receive $13  + Inspect $19 + Dispatch $13 = $45 total

 

A swivel rocker is received, inspected, and later dispatched:

  • 3 moves: Receive $13  + Inspect $19 + Dispatch $13 = $45 total

Note, some items, such as a sectional or multi-component bed frame, may arrive in 3–7 boxes—that’s 3–7 items.​

With flat-rate pricing, you get quick quotes and upfront, transparent costs.

2. Storage Fees​

  • We charge for storage by how much floor space your items use each week.

  • We measure your space each week, then add it up at the end of the month.

  • Price: $25 per unit.

  • 1 unit = 64 sq ft (an 8 ft × 8 ft space).

  • Some months have 4  billable weeks, some have 5.

  • Months with 5 billable weeks in 2025: January, April, July, October, and December.

Example (4-week month):

Your items use:

Week 1: 180 sq ft
Week 2: 240 sq ft (New items received)
Week 3: 320 sq ft (New items received)
Week 4: 260 sq ft (A dispatch occurred, reducing usage)

 

Total monthly sq ft = 1,000

1,000 ÷ 64 = 15.625 → rounds up to 16 units
16 units × $25 = $400 for the month

3. Installation Services

 

We offer white glove delivery and installation for all types of FF&E, including case goods, upholstery, and decor.

 

Crew Size Hourly Rate Minimum

(2) Installers $175/hour 2-hour minimum ($350)

(4) Installers $320/hour 2-hour minimum ($640)

(5+) Installers Project-Based Quoted per job

Time includes:

  • Truck load up (For larger jobs, may load the evening prior)

  • Travel time to and from job site

  • Installation and assembly time

  • Disposal of packaging & trash, or donation

  • Jobs with long drive times may include a travel fee

 

Installations are scheduled in advance and billed separately from warehouse services

4. Storage Week Definition

 

We define a billable storage week as any week with 3 or more business days in the billed month. This ensures weeks that span across adjacent months are only billed once.

5. Add-On Services

Abandonment / Disposal $25+ per item

Assembly Support: Included in install rates

6. Invoicing & Transparency
  • Billed monthly

  • Itemized by project

  • Includes handling, storage, installations, and extras

  • Payment Terms: Net 15 unless otherwise arranged

Month/Year: June/202X

  • Storage: 2 units x $25 = $50

  • Handling of 4 Items: Received (4 x $13 = $52 ) + Inspected  (4 x $19 = $76)  + Dispatched (4 x $13 = $52) = $180

  • Install: 2 installers ($175) x 2 hours = $350

  • Total: $580
