Designer’s Warehouse Fee Schedule

We make the logistics of furniture and decor effortless for interior designers. Below is our fee schedule with detailed examples to help you understand how charges are calculated.

1. Handling Fees

​

Handling includes three actions:

• Receiving into inventory

• Inspection and photography

• Dispatch for delivery or pickup

 

Rate: $13 per move
Each action = 1 move

 

Example:
A sofa is received, inspected, and later dispatched:

• 3 moves × $13 = $39 total

 

2. Storage Fees

​

Storage is billed based on the floor space your items occupy per week.

Rate: $25 per 64 sq ft utilized (an 8x8 space)

We track weekly square footage used. At the end of the month, we total your usage and round up to the nearest unit.

Example:

​

Your items use:

• Week 1: 50 sq ft

• Week 2: 80 sq ft

• Week 3: 90 sq ft

• Week 4: 70 sq ft

 

Total monthly sq ft = 290
290 ÷ 64 = 4.53 → rounds up to 5 units
5 units × $25 = $125/month

3. Installation Services

 

We offer white glove delivery and installation for all types of FF&E, including case goods, upholstery, and decor.

 

Crew Size Hourly Rate Minimum

2 Installers$160/hour 2-hour minimum ($320)

4 Installers$250/hour 2-hour minimum ($500)

5+ Installers Project-Based Quoted per job

• Time includes travel to and from job site

• Jobs outside Wilmington, Charlotte, or Raleigh may include a travel fee

• Installations are scheduled in advance and billed separately from warehouse services

4. Storage Week Definition

 

We define a billable storage week as any week with 3 or more business days. This ensures fairness for weeks that span across months.

5. Add-On Services

6. Invoicing & Transparency

​

• Billed monthly

• Itemized by project

• Includes handling, storage, installations, and extras

• Payment Terms: Net 15 unless otherwise arranged
